Here is the man and comedian himself, eddie cantor.  Listen to the song around 1:54.

I found this video by looking into season 1 episode 3 of Boardwalk Empire where the actor playing Eddie Cantor is singing a song for all the men in Nucky’s clique.  The scene is pretty good and ends with Nucky looking starring @ his silly hoe of a girlfriend on a backdrop of this song.

Here are the lyrics as best as i can understand them… and if anyone out there knows the real song name or anything post a comment.

    Makes more sense and its definately what he sings :) – its clearer on some recordings than others.

    Many thanks for the video. The early 20th century was a unique time. There was no standard for films and at first, the goal seemed to be volume, how many films could someone make per week. Some, like Eddie Cantor, had obvious talent, regardless of the year. Thanks again for making this available.

    Thanks guys! I’ve updated the lyrics… i had a really hard time understanding that part actually so thank you for commenting. I remember playing it over and over to the point where i wasn’t hearing words anymore just sounds lol.
